Incident Notification

Members can now notify SAFEX of incidents online by completing the Notification of Incident form after accessing the restricted pages (Intranet) with their access codes.

If your Company is a SAFEX Member and you don't have your individual access codes, please request them using the Member Nomination Form. Please do NOT use anyone else's access codes

The Services SAFEX Offers

Exchanging experiences involves the following activities (click on the relevant illustration for more information about the service):

Committed global membership

Our aim is to extend the SAFEX influence worldwide by encouraging eligible companies to become active SAFEX members in order to help them improve their explosives health, safety, security and envirnomental performance.

Incident information

The sharing of information about serious and potentially serious HS&E incidents can lead to a better understanding of their causes, how to deal with them and avoid a recurrence of the incidents.

Good Practices

Understanding the underlying causes of incidents helps SAFEX members identify good practices that will either prevent explosives incidents or minimise their consequences.

Explosives competence

People working in our explosives operations must acquire and implement the knowledge and expertise associated with the identified good practices in order to operate safely and responsibly.

Networking internally and externally

As a learning organisation SAFEX Members are keen to learn from each other and anyone else who may contribute to SAFEX’s effectiveness. In the same way we will share our experience with others to make our industry safer, healthier and environmentally friendlier. We do this by networking widely.
